Amy Winehouse Shows Up Too Late to Accept Award

When Amy Winehouse was announced as the winner of the prestigious Ivor Novello songwriting award in London yesterday, she showed up just as her father took the stage to accept on her behalf.
Unfortunately, Amy couldn’t make it, but she is getting better and sends you all her love,” said Mitch Winehouse who, fortunately, was in attendance to accept the award for Best Song for her hit “Love is a Losing Game.”
Perhaps she should re-write the tune to read “Drugs are a Losing Game.” Though it looked for a while that Amy was trying to get her life back in order, she appears to be off the wagon again. Though we’re thinking good positive thoughts for our girl Amy, she has to make the decision to remain clean and sober on her own.
