For anyone who missed the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) last night, don’t worry, there will be plenty of re-runs. To be completely honest, the whole thing was pretty boring – Russell Brand was not funny in the least and Britney Spears’ “opening act” was beyond lame. After spending 10 years cranking out the jams, Christina Aguilera is planning to release her first compilation album entitled Keeps Getting Better – A Decade of Hits.
The album will be available as a special edition box set, exclusively from Target, starting November 11. Pre-ordering begins September 30 via Target.com.

Word in the blogosphere is that Christina Aguilera is about to give birth. She’s currently in labor at the maternity ward at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. There are conflicting reports – she either checked in last night or this morning. I don’t have many more details than that, I’m sorry to say.
Our best wishes for a speedy delivery and a happy healthy baby.

Christina Aguilera has one of the best voices in the business. Really, not too many can come close. She always surprises me when she sings, she’s such a small thing yet such a big voice comes out!
For sure 2008 will be a joyous year for Christina and her husband as they welcome their first child.

Happy Holidays, Friends. Blog World Expo and Thanksgiving really through me off in November. I hope you’ll forgive me for not being as diligent as I should about posting to this blog.
