“Dreamboat Annie” First in “Legendary Albums Live” Series
One of my favorite albums of all time is Heart’s “Dreamboat Annie”. While I’m musically and rhythmically challenged, I can recall many evenings in my room with my hair brush microphone or air guitar pretending I was one of the Wilson Sisters. For me, “Dreamboat Annie” wasn’t an album to listen to, it was an album in which to get lost. That’s why I’m thrilled to tell you, we’ll be listening and seeing Ann and Nancy Wilson, Heart, peforming this classic great live, in its entirety on DVD and CD as part of the “Legendary Albums Live” series. Baby, I know what I want in my stocking this Christmas.
The performance was taped April 17th at the Orpheum Theatre and was aired on Mother’s Day 2007 on Direct TV. Now we can all enjoy hearing refreshed versions of our favorites including “Magic Man”, “Crazy on You”, “Sing Child” and more.
I’m so psyched.
Here’s some classic Heart for you to enjoy.

Well, I am going to have to steal this news I hope you know. I can’t believe I missed this. I LOVE Dreamboat Annie. It’s in my most played pile of LPs — the ones I don’t put away but just leave next to the record player.
How Deep it Goes is the best. Actually the whole album is the best. The only song I don’t like is Sing Child; it doesn’t seem to fit with the rest of the album to me. This is cool news though. Thanks for the heads up.
