Jennifer Hudson’s Album Cover: A Skinny Touch-Up?

Jennifer Hudson is gearing up for the September release of her highly anticipated debut album. With previews of her new album cover out though, folks are are buzzing about Hudson getting a skinny touch up for the photo on her album cover though.

According to an E!Online source, there were no touch ups and that the Oscar Award winning actress and Dreamgirls star “has a tiny waist.”

While some may insist that Hudson is trying to present a waifish image with her new album cover, it is apparent that Hudson will never be a waif. As far as I could tell, she has always had an hourglass figure, which would mean a small waist with ample bust and hips.

Check out the new video for her latest single “Spotlight” after the jump. You can tell Hudson is still voluptuous but perhaps more importantly, that the two images – the one from the album cover and the one in the video – are consistent.

Hudson is also recording a song for the soundtrack to the upcoming movie, The Secret Life of Bees and looking for help choosing a title for her new album.
