Mary J Blige Helps Find Jobs
Mary J Blige is starting a foundation to help women find jobs and gain confidence. The Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now will set its sights first in Mary’s hometown of Yonkers New York before branching out. The foundation will give out scholarship money and fund programs aimed at the advancement of women.
Now this is what I’m talking about. How celebrities can become more positive role models and do something that makes an impact. To me, that’s way more newsworthy than posing semi nude or partying all the time. I’m sure we’ll here great things about this program - and its graduates - in the future.
