My Top 10 Guilty Pleasure Songs
November 19, 2007 by Sarah
It’s guilty pleasure day here at the b5Media Music Channel. As I was gathering my list of closet classics, I wondered why I should feel so guilty about enjoying some really great music. Perhaps my tastes don’t reflect the majority, and perhaps my tastes are a little outdated, should this make me feel guilty? (Well OK…some of these are rather embarrassing *cough* Spice Girls *cough*). Anyway, here are some of my favorite guilty pleasures. I hope you enjoy them too!
Lulu: To Sir With Love
Dusty Springfield: Son of a Preacher Man
Katrina and the Waves: Walking on Sunshine
The Spice Girls: Wannabe
Abba: Waterloo
Concrete Blonde: Joey
Kelly Clarkson: Walk Away
Salt ‘N Pepa: Push It
Janet Jackson: Black Cat

Son of a Preacher Man is so great! I always listen to that. Also, I LOVE Abba. Sadly, I cannot agree with a few things on this list. I’m shocked so much of the channel secretly likes Kelly C! Yikes. Good list though.
You know when you are forced to listen to a song over and over again to the point where you just can’t take it anymore? That’s how I felt about “Black Cat.” Nothing wrong with the song, just that I can’t listen to it one more time… Great list by the way.
Yeah, baby - you got it right with Son of Preacher Man. But what about Jessie’s Girl - Rick Springfield?
Talk about guilty.
