Tina Turner’s Life to Become a London Stage Production

Tina Turner’s life has certainly been interesting. So interesting in fact, it’s being turned into a London musical featuring her own songs. While no one can deny the awesomeness of songs such as “What’s Love Got to Do With It” and “Private Dancer”, critics are also labeling the production as being rather…well…odd.
From the New York Post:
“(In one scene) the Egyptian queen (Hatshepsut) watches over Tina. When Ike pulls a gun on Tina, Hatshepsut shields her and the gun ‘leaps’ out of Ike’s hand.”
Okaaaay….
